rici
Real-time Interface & Conversion Item - RICI Sunhillo's Real Time Interface and Conversion Item (RICI) is a versatile and modular platform designed for surveillance sensor data formatting, filtering and protocol conversions. The RICI is an ideal solution for networks requiring low-density, high-speed system interfacing to multiple serial ports with the ability to scale to future network demands. The RICI is a compact FPGA-based signal processing platform that enables synchronous, asynchronous, Bi-sync plus HDLC serial / LAN interconnectivity and can be programmed to perform essentially any data format conversion. RICI

Common conversions performed by the RICI include message format transformations between surveillance data in ECGP, CD-2, ASR, various ASTERIX categories (e.g., CAT 01, 02, 33, 34, 48, and others), ADS-B, MAR, TPS75, Mode 4, ARTS, SGF, AIRCAT-500, Mode S, in addition to sync, async serial and LAN formats.

Longport - Surveillance Data Distribution Platform Sunhillo's Longport Platform is a robust, versatile and modular system designed for surveillance sensor data distribution and message conversions. It provides sensor interfacing capabilities for the FAA STARS, ASR11 as well as the military DASR program. The Longport is scalable, providing the capability to provision modules and services as mission requirements dictate. The Longport Platform is also fully compatible with the STARS SIU. Longport
Surveillance Gateway Unit - SGUThe SGU is a multi-channel, high density FPGA-based signal processing platform that enables synchronous, asynchronous, Bi-sync plus HDLC Serial-to-LAN connectivity performing message format conversion, filtering and transformation of a variety of message formats, including: ASR, ASTERIX (Cat 01, 02, 33, 34, 48 and others) in addition to sync serial and LAN formats. SGU
Surveillance Gateway Processor - SGP Our SGP is an integral member of the Surveillance Gateway family. It manages high-capacity data pipes up to gigabit speeds providing data formatting, filtering and protocol conversion of site specific packetized sensor information from and to a LAN. This versatile device provides interfacing directly to a router or switch and handles TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols. The SGP is also the engine that powers our scalable and modular LAN-to-LAN, LAN-to-serial solution when married with our Surveillance Gateway Unit (SGU). SGP
Surveillance Gateway System - SGS The Surveillance Gateway System (SGS) is the combination of our gateway unit (SGU) and gateway processor (SGP). This powerful platform delivers unprecedented modularity and scalability for IP-based connectivity and bidirectional LAN-to-LAN and Serial-to-LAN surveillance sensor data formatting, filtering and protocol conversions. This versatile 5U form factor is highly reliable and redundant, providing the capability to incrementally add LAN and/or serial data interfaces as mission requirements dictate. In the SGS configuration, the SGP comes standard with six Ethernet ports while the SGU can be provisioned with up to 32 serial ports per chassis. SGS

Simulation and Analysis

SGATSurveillance Generator & Analysis Tool - SGAT Sunhillo’s Surveillance Generation and Analysis Tool (SGAT) Track Generator supports legacy radar data, ADS-B, and correlated (ADS-B/radar) target information with the ability to simulate high data loads, alerts, and excessive target data—excessive in the range of thousands to thoroughly stress Air Traffic Systems during high service volume loads. This powerful tool provides realistic simulation, as well as track generation to “autogenerate” surveillance tracks based on userspecified site, route, and target information and is capable of saving this information for scenario creation and future playback. SGAT

The built-in Generator software provides message control parameters for a variety of common surveillance data formats, such as: En Route Communications Gateway Protocol (ECGP), ASTERIX, CAT048, CAT033 and CAT034; Airport Surveillance Radar Model 9 (ASR-9); Air Route Surveillance Radar, Model 3 and Model 4 (ARSR-3 and ARSR- 4); Common Digitizer, Mode 1 and Mode 2 (CD-1 and CD-2); Minimally Attended Radar (MAR) / FPS-11; and other protocols and formats.
