Sunhillo is pleased to announce that our long time Spanish Distributor, Chris Zamarreno, was hired as Sunhillo’s full time Sales Director for EMEA – APAC. Chris has worked with Sunhillo for over 10 years having the responsibility for international sales in and around Spain and will now be managing all international distributors in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific regions as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with foreign military / civil aviation groups and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs).
Chris holds a Diploma in International Trade and Bachelor of Economics and European Institutions from University Paris XIII. After moving from Paris, France to Madrid, Spain, Chris started his professional career in Sun Microsystems Iberia as the Third-Party Products Purchase Manager.
From 2003 to 2009 Chris worked with all the alliances management on heterogeneous’ projects. He dealt with different technology partners, elaborating certification, global agreements with manufacturers and suppliers and connecting them to the existing business units inside the organization.
After Oracle’s acquisition of SUN Microsystems and a transition period, Chris formed his own company, Synaptic Solutions, in 2011 to continue supporting the customers and manufacturers he had been working with over the years. Chris has been the Alliances Manager of Synaptic Solutions and also responsible for all the business aspects related to Sunhillo Corporation, opening new accounts such as INDRA and managing others on behalf of Sunhillo.
With this new role, Chris will be focusing on increasing Sunhillo’s international presence and maintaining relationships, sales, and current distributors in Europe and Asia.
Sunhillo welcomed Chris to the team in January as an expansion to international sales. Chris stated, “Working as a team, side by side with our customers, with transparency, ethics and trust, we can go one step further”.
