This is formal notification that the First Generation Surveillance Gateway Processor (SGP) product is being declared End of Life. Based upon a commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware platform, the first generation SGP required regular software updates to support changes to the COTS hardware. With the successful introduction and adoption of the second-generation Brigantine SGP, which is based upon Sunhillo’s Brigantine hardware platform, it has been decided to phase out the first generation. The Sunhillo designed Brigantine platform provides a more stable platform for Sunhillo’s SureLine® Software Suite as well as additional capabilities, such as dual redundant power supplies and up to 12 Ethernet ports as standard.

The following accessories for the first generation SGP will also be made end of life. Given the significantly increased Ethernet port count of the replacement Brigantine SGP, no replacement will be made available for these items.

Lifecycle Dates
As part of our End of Life process, Sunhillo is providing guidance concerning the following:
- Last Order Date: Orders will be accepted for six (6) months following the release date of this notice
- Last Ship Date: Orders placed before the Last Order Date must be scheduled for shipment no later than six (6) months after the Last Order Date.
- End of Support Date: Sunhillo will provide two (2) years of support from the release date of this notice, after which time Sunhillo will no longer provide any support, nor issue RMAs, for Affected Products. If third-party components, used in the manufacture of Affected Products, are declared End of Life or test rigs become unavailable before the End of Support date stated in this notice, support will continue to be provided on a best efforts basis during the remainder of the declared support period for Affected Products.
