End of Life Notice
This is formal notification that the First Generation Surveillance Gateway Processor (SGP) product is being declared End of Life. Based upon a commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware platform, the first generation SGP required regular software updates to support changes to the COTS hardware. With the successful introduction and adoption of the second-generation Brigantine SGP, which is based upon Sunhillo’s Brigantine hardware platform, it has been decided to phase out the first generation. The Sunhillo designed Brigantine platform provides a more stable platform for Sunhillo’s SureLine® Software Suite as well as additional capabilities, such as dual redundant power supplies and up to 12 Ethernet ports as standard.
This is formal notification that the Data Replicator product is being declared End of Life. This is due to Sunhillo’s move away from the current Data Replicator commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware platform in favor of the Sunhillo designed Brigantine platform.
This is formal notification that the RICI 4500 product is being declared End of Life. Given the successful introduction and adoption of its replacement, the RICI 5000, it has been decided to place the RICI 4500 on an End of Life track.
With the introduction of the second generation Longport system, providing a form, fit and function replacement for the first generation and securing the future of the Longport for a further 10 years, this is formal notification that the first generation Longport products are being declared End of Life.
This is formal notification that the MPS1000 WAN/LAN Communications Server and CPC358 Synchronous Serial Controller are being declared End of Life (EoL) due to obsolete parts. The MPS1000 WAN/LAN Communications Server will be replaced by the Ventnor Communications Server. The CPC358 Synchronous Serial Controller will not be replaced.
Due to problems in sourcing an obsolete component on the board, we are forced to issue an immediate end of life notice on all versions of this product. A complete list of all the versions is provided at the end of this notice. Sunhillo has managed to secure a small quantity of the obsolete component and will use it to make a stock of boards. This stock will be made available on a first come first served basis. It is unfortunate we have to take this step but, given the problems in sourcing this obsolete component, we feel we have no other option.
