Sunhillo Corporation Announces Longport Platform Technology Update
Sunhillo Corporation is pleased to announce for 2019, a technical update that has been performed on the Longport product line to upgrade the system capabilities and address product longevity. The Longport system update is a form, fit, and function direct replacement for the current Longport with multiple upgrades; some of the technology highlights now include, a hardware encryption capability, a faster 800 MHz dual core processor, increased cooling and a lighter aluminum chassis.
The updated Longport components are fully backward compatible with the previous Longport allowing Processor Control Modules, Ethernet Switch Modules, and Power Supply Module cards to be interchanged between the two generations of systems.
Sunhillo Corporation Announces Delivery of Equipment to Aireon
Sunhillo Corporation is pleased to announce that Aireon is utilizing Sunhillo’s surveillance data conversion and distribution products both within the Aireon core network and for several Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) .
Effective last month, Aireon’s space-based air traffic surveillance system for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) equipped aircraft went into live operations. Aireon is the first ever, global air traffic surveillance system, and is currently in trial use over the North Atlantic Ocean. Deployment will commence in seven additional regions by the end of the year.

SUNHILLO CORPORATION SELLS ITS SUBSIDIARY, SUNHILLO TECHNICAL SERVICES (STS)
Sunhillo Corporation, a leading supplier of both products and services to the FAA and the ATC/ATM business community, announces the sale of Sunhillo Technical Services (STS) Corporation, formally a wholly owned subsidiary company of Sunhillo Corporation, to Enroute Computer Solutions (ECS) of Atlantic City N.J. for an undisclosed price. The sale is effective immediately and includes all existing FAA contract services work under contract with STS.
“This is an exciting opportunity for both companies”, said Dave Whitman, President, Sunhillo Corporation. “For Sunhillo, this sale enables us to focus our energies into our core product and systems solutions areas of expertise, while still providing services support to the FAA through the parent company. This sale will also make it possible for Sunhillo to invest more resources into a next generation of Sunhillo products and systems solutions for the ATC community, the FAA and future programs.”
